David Kuhrt graduated from art school with a National Diploma in Design and later worked with the artist Hermann Kirchner in Germany for 6 months following a foundation year at Emerson College. He has exhibited at the German Institute, London; SERMAC, Fort-de-France (Martinique); and Gallerie un Moment en Plus in Paris. From 1986-2004 he was a partner in Novalis Signs & Graphics (London), supplying glass signs with gilded inverse-relief lettering to Wetherspoon pubs. He now lives in Forest Row and has drawings on sale at the Victor Arwas Gallery London. He also writes poetry and philosophy.
